Home invasions on the rise as Tom Suozzi continues to take our Money.

My friends:

I regret to inform you today that home invasions in the County of Nassau has spiked significantly. We have had over 2 dozen more home invasion incidents here in the last 10 months.

This is all according to News 12 Long Island:

A home invasion task force was formed with representatives from many county police departments, but Nassau Police Commissioner James Lawrence says common sense and awareness should keep people safe. John Kundle of Safe Guard Alarms says other safety measures homeowners can use are video cameras, motion detectors or dogs.

For those of you who don't know, James Lawrence is Tom Suozzi's handpicked Police Commissioner.

Mr. Lawrence: Why should we have to live in paranoid fashion within Nassau County, Americas' first, best suburb? Why should we take precautions when your police Force is charged with protecting this County?

Could it be that you and your Department do not have sufficient resources to perform their duties? Let us refer back for a moment to a brilliant Long Island Press article, which was remarkably revealing to many people:

In 1998, the law enforcement staff had consisted of 3,139 people. By 2001, when Willett penned his memo, the number was down to 2,795; today, it's closer to 2,500...

Meanwhile, the reduced ranks face increased workloads. Police received about 474,000 calls for service in 2002. Last year's figure was 26,000 higher, and in 2003, police received an astounding 67,000 more calls than the year before...

"In the past, we went above and beyond with our service. No matter what the problem was, it would be resolved," says Lt. Gary Learned, president of the Nassau County Superior Officers Association, which represents cops with the rank of sergeant and higher. "Now we're willing to accept that a certain level of crime is just going to happen."

My friends, I will never accept that I certain level of crime is just "going to happen." We should never accept this. We live in the greatest suburb in America, and the County Executive's neglect of our Police has left us less safe.

On November 8th, take a bite out of crime. Defeat Tom Suozzi and the entire Democratic ticket.

James Lawrence couldn't care less about Nassau County, he is from NYC, and was appointed as a favor to Hillary Clinton.

The NCPD is of no consequence to him.....

Whats worse is he too knows the police departemnt is understaffed, but does nothing about it. It seems his Souzzi given paycheck come first...

Get prepared to see a rise in home invasions.....Lawrence doesn't even have enough cops to put out special patrols to combat this problem....

He is going around begging for Village departemnts to provide officers for special patrols....

AS a homeowner, buy a gun and shoot to kill. That's the solution because the county is not helping you. Oh, you thought I meant shoot the home invaders? No no, silly people. I meant shoot our elected DEMOCRATS right in the ass. You want a good, clean kill, and that's where their brains are. Up their asses.
