Newsday editorial confirms Suozzi's lack of tax cutting agenda. Suozzi a 'performance artist'

My friends, I was unsure as to whether or not I should even bother commenting on this. This was widely expected and no one really believes it will matter. Newsday is a Democrat Partisan hack organization devoted to the end of Conservatism on Long Island.

So, with this in mind, I bring you today's absolute disgrace of an Endorsement Editorial. And, folks, you can tell that this was written by Larry Levy. It is riddled with Democrat talking points. And, as we all know, Larry does what hes told. He is truly a waste of human organs, which could easily have gone to needy transplant patients who would have used them for a meaningful existence.

Now, folks, I hope you all recognize something: This editorial is meaingless in Political terms. People are more and more aware every day of the liberal slant of Newsday, and they demonstrate that awareness in subscription rates. Newsday is losing the war, folks. They are losing readers, subscribers, and reporters. They have had to cut their staff and budget significantly. We are winning. In many ways, this is the last gasp of an old time liberal rag.

The comeback county

Nassau itself is coming back, repaired, polished and confident. In four
years, Suozzi has done more to improve one of the nation's premier counties than all his immediate predecessors combined. For this dramatic turnaround, he has earned re-election.

Oh, really? I suppose, then, that a park system rated as Superficially maintained by Independent Parks Advocated is coming back. I guess that the out of control County taxes is a sign of new health. And I guess the upspike in Violent crime is sign of a 'polished' county. This is transparent bilge.

Tom Suozzi has earned one thing: A trip back to Glen Cove. He has not earned re-election, for the simple reason that he has misused the public trust. He has forgotten what Nassau County is, and he has lost all touch with our desperate need for lower taxes and less government. He has failed.

If he wins another term, Suozzi pledges to remain a reformer. He has set his sights on the monster that really threatens the quality of life on Long Island: bloated tax bills. Suozzi has the tenacity and zeal to rip away the web of hidden special district charges for services that could be provided less expensively. He also has the political skills to help shape a consensus on ways to cut school spending. He needs to stay focused here and not get distracted by another big idea.

Ok, so folks, for all the attacks on Greg Peterson for not getting specific, where are the specifics from Tom Suozzi on his plans to lower taxes. To date, I have heard none. This paragraph confirms that. He doesnt have a way to shape consensus, as evidenced by fixalbany.com. He does not have the intellectual honesty to talk about Special Districts, as he continues to lie and say Hempstead Town runs them, when they are independently elected entities. There are no ideas here. In short, the only thing we know Tom Suozzi has on his agenda is a new tax increase. His rubberstamp legislators already passed it back in April, hoping you didn't notice. Thats right, folks: Tom Suozzi's budget for 2006 includes tax increases on firewood, home heating oil, and huge service fee hikes. In short, its bad for taxpayers. I wonder why he hasn't promoted it.

Ignore this folks. We just blew it out of the water in 5 minutes. Keep fighting, and fighting hard. We will triumph on November 8th.
